Need to know what cam and springs you intend to use.

Killer cam + Killer springs = Killer rockers - get the T&D's or Jesel's for sure.

Milder cam and springs = Good rockers - HS should work. Don't buy anything less. Don't buy Indy rockers.

Don't mind spending more for better parts - Get T&D's or Jesel's even if you don't think you need them.

For years I used Indy rockers. They lasted 3 to 4 years, I had a 283 degree .68" lift solid roller. Then I switched to Ersons, really nice rockers and the price was reasonable, unfortunately they donät make them anymore. However, still have them in the engine. Then I decided to try T&D's, for some reason they didn't work in our engine. since they work in many others, I don't think it was because of the design, jsut some "glimps" we didn't catch. After the third major valvetrain failure I buried the T&D's and ordered a set of Harlan Sharps as spare. Hope they'll do their job when the day comes.

In this order from Best to good..
Jesel
T&D
Harland Sharpe.
Seeing how the Harland Sharpe rockers are almost the same price as T&D..makes it the better choice IMO.

What's wrong with RAS rockers?

Does RAS even offer an offset rocker for the 440-1?

I would use the T&D's, shaft mounted. They have cups for adjusters. They will oil through the shaft, so no need for pushrod oiling.

Harland Sharps are more than adequate at that range. T&D is certainly an option, and are nice pieces, but dont worry a bit about running Harlands with those pressures. Non issue.
