Summit Racing Wheels - 09/17/09 10:21 PM

Whats the deal with these? I havent heard anything about them...good or bad..
At that price, I assume they are over sea's produced or maybe not..
They look like a nice wheel, and I need some front runners.

Those wheel centers are most likely made by Centerline. I know this for a fact.

Check out these Centerline wheel centers to see if they look familiar..

BTW.. Centerline also makes most of the centers for Billet Specialties..

Pretty bold statement when the Centerlines in question are one piece forgings and the Summits are one piece castings.

I just bought some Summit wheels for my truck, they turned out to be Ultra brand wheels. Made in China! I bet those wheels are to.

the summits are cast -- the welds are forged

When I was with Summit these wheels were made by the same company that makes Cragers. The wheels were nice but they were on the HEAVY side. But overall you cant beat the price.

I have a buddy that bought a set of the wheels in the second link. I think they look great but they are pretty heavy since they are cast.

Both Summit wheels are UGLY!!!
Jegs also!!!

The Weld Aluma Star 2.0 is the only good looking
wheel for the pro street/street machine.

Foose Nitrous II's are kickA$$ too.

Some of the new Boss wheel line stuff looks good.
Boss 338 kind of copy Foose Nitrous II's but still
look good.

Here is another option, they are priced fair I think and they have beadlocks too if you are so inclined
