Just to add to his question, since I don't know. What are pros and cons of 1" vs larger dia? I have seen both.

The reason i asked about 1 inch is it seams there are alot more options as for as tooth count with the 1 inch mandrels. On my fuel pump i want the option of changing fuel supply rate with the gears. A friend who works at a robotics shop, came by last evening and says he can make me the mandrel. Would yall do aluminum or steel? Thanks again for the reply's.Brian.
