Are any of you using E85 fuel with Eddy carbs and or the Carter carbs that are plated like the newer Eddy carbs are? If so what jetting and needle and seats are you using? Also what about the acelerator pumps? will the stock ones Eddy uses work or do you need to replace them with a different type? Thanks in adavnce, one of the local Mopar NSS racers needs to know

I'd be interested in this as well. I have a supercharged 340 with Carters. My new N/SS ride will have Eddy 750s. I was going to go 15-1. But if I could run it on E85 I could back down to 14-1 and be good to go. The price of C-14 could pay for the conversion. I'm not sure a Carter/Eddy has big enough internal passages or bowl capacity to to provide the approx 50% more fuel required.

I think the acell pump will work fine, if they have a problem try a leather style. I'm quite sure the internals are large enough to support E-85 with some mods. If I had a dyno and some time I'd dial one in n my old test mule. Dave

make sure you have the metal shaft acelerator pumps and not the plastic ones, alcohol+plastic=problems

I am working on this project now but first I am sending a pair off to be modified with dominator butterflys for more air flow then we will tackle the E85 conversion.

In 2007 Ebrock had a 600 cfm performer , #1414 , that was for use with E85 , but it must not have been popular as I can't find it anywhere but in a 2007 new products flyer .

I'd like to know the answer to this question also as I'd like to use a Thunder 800 with E85
