Just wanted to share this with all you Mopar Guys. Most of you know that I have been working with the small blocks for a long time now and refuse to go larger. I am very proud of these results. It is a 412ci W8 combo with a single blow thru turbo...thats right I still run a carb with this thing. This was during some testing at Budds Creek Md. I think there is a little more left in it. Is the hissing sound from the blow off valves or the waste gates or is that a normal sound from a turbo car? I don't see a blow off valve in the system from the pictures?

Thanks Guys, I try to represent us Mopar Guys as well as I can. MR_P_BODY you are correct, no intercooler. We run on methanol to keep things cool. The sound you hear is from the wastegate. No blow off valve, at least not yet.

C&S Carburators make some dam good carbs and fuel components and i have 3 of their carbs.

This turbo thing could be catching on. How much alcohol does it burn in one pass to run that kind of number?

Roger at C&S is and has been great to work with. I know there are lots of others out there but he has been willing to prove his is the way to go. That carb gets so many questions when people see it. Most people think the big solenoids are for nitrous or something else but actually they are there to keep enough fuel (methanol) supply to the bowls to feed it. So far it is really working well.

Jim, right now at the present boost level it burns about 21/2 gallons to complete a pass. I burn more on warm ups than anywhere else. I am running it pretty rich!

i run a C&S 950 aresol billet alky and barrel fuel log

AVENGER, AWESOME run. Maybe you could give me some info/help. I have been trying to get my SB to run on blowthru carb/alcohol with a F2 procharger @ 16lbs boost and can't get enough fuel to motor on top end. Carb is a custom built Carb Shop blowthru with dual inlets frt/rear, same regulator as U. I tried a Magna Fuel 500 electric pump. What type of fuel pump are u using and how much carb jetting @ what Boost?? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanx.

I don't think that pump and carb setup is going to give you enough fuel. I might work with gas but not methanol. I probably need more info on that before making that decision. I'm running the aeromotive Billet Belt Drive Pump. My jetting is up to around .189

PM me some more info on the combination and I will see if I can recommend something.

Thanks Darrell, I enjoy running at VMP. I owe the fans another race there which they will get on September 19 and 20 at the Small Motor Nationals. I broke my trans running Lonnie there. Exploded it when I pulled 2nd gear. Would have been a good race. He is a class act! I would like to go against him again at VMP. I wanted to see if he would come to the OSBA Small Motor Nationals on September 19th and 20th. That is one tough Hemi! I wish more Mopar Guys would come out and have a good time!

Not even close to being done, just saving up and paying as we go. But the plan is to build a 10.00 street/strip Avenger with a 440 and most of the interior still in it.

Just Freekin Awesome!!!

Gives me something to look forward too and see that my expectations aren't too far fetched.

I have a 468cui W9-RP with Twin 76's going together (Fuel Injected)Going in a '99 Dakota that is currently having a full tube Chassis put in it.

Expecting to get it down to 2600-2800lbs and looking at hit 8.00 sec consistently.
