Norwalk CC Event Question - 08/26/09 12:56 AM

I was looking at the schedule for Norwalk,
Does not show Class Runoff's for Max Wedge or Hemi's.???

The points for class runoff's could play a role in the Championship.

They did not have class run offs at Milan either. They had a $50.00 MW gamblers race It changes at every event

Not if you have boat load of problems like I've been having every time I go out.

Most of the big buck bracket races are run this way now. You can always buy back if you lose 1st round on Sunday.

I'm glad to see the class run-offs and time run on Sun go. Waste of fuel and tires. Racing for 2 days you should know what your car will run.

Well that don't surprize me....Charlie likes getting home early on Sunday....It won't bother us max wedge guys since we are on a index...But I think that S/P and Pro it would be a big deal since weather conditions can really change their dial-ins..Remember Columbus, the cars were .15-.20 quicker Sunday morning, everyone was breaking out. poppaj

The time trial is kinda handy if you dont get there till Sat night/Sunday morning. I know my brother wants to come, but cant get off work till 4 on Saturday, and its a 4 hour drive, so he wouldnt get a time trial.

I dont like the idea, you pay what 70 bucks for that big race, you should get a time pass for it. Weather could be different at that time of morning, and you might not have a weather station.

Its foolish, Imo, of anybody to say that time trial wouldnt be handy. I wonder if it was "optional" how many would sit it out? I bet nobody would..

Count me in as a guy who never makes "kiss butt" comments. I pay 70 bucks just for that race i want a time trial. I drive further than most to get there, its a once a year deal, if you are so worried about getting out of there soon, go red and leave

Re: Norwalk CC Event Question - 08/26/09 10:51 PM

I agree it would be different if this was a big buck weekend of racing but it isnt. It is fri 2 time trails ,sat 2 time trails and 2 gamblers races. Giving everyone 1 time trail wouldnt extend the sunday by that much. John
