Jegs sells their full line of fuel line components cheap. I'd use their compression style fitting... no flaring needed.

So do I just go buy a compression fitting and still use the tube nut that I got, cause I got that push tight line with fittings.

The ones I used adapt the hard line to an AN fitting. Just screw the AN right on.

Hmm,I wonder if that only work with aluminum line?

Never used them on anything but aluminum lines.

Me too. The ferral probably has to be used with mallable lines so it can pinch it to hang on to it. I have a 3/8 steel line on my X that I need to come off of with AN into my regulator. Can't stand looking at rubber hose and clamps, even though it works

you can use compression fittings on steel lines with no problem.

I have used a 45 degree flaring tool on aluminum fuel lines, I didn't flare it all the way to 45 degrees to make it work with the 37.5 degree fittings. I ended up later buying a Parker brands AN flaring tool several years ago when I owned and maintained my own airpalne, the Feds didn't like anything non FAA aproved, procedures, tools or parts going onto a FAA certified airpalne

I had compression fittings on there before and they leaked all the time. I just don't want to have that problem again.. And anytime that you would bumb the line it would start leaking.. just don't want any problems..

I've heard of people heating it up first with a torch so it doesn't come out messed up near the seam, if it has one
