Lol Been there , gotta say after 36 years I grew up some and she quit nagging as much, wouldn't change a thing!!!

My ex used to snivel about what little I did spend. Mind you, all of it came from side jobs or horse trading.
Of course, she's been kicked to the curb
But this guy in the video not bringing home the bacon... how the hell does he figure a woman's going to put up with that?

My wife does'nt care what I spend as long as the bills are paid and we have all the things we need. I've had to sit out half the races this year because I don't have the money to go. Wish it was different, but we have to eat and pay the mortgage. I do a little bodywork on the side to fund my racing, but it's never enough. It's hard to hear of all your buddies going to some really cool event and you know you have to stay home.

Well on the flip side, how many of you wouldn't kick your wife to the curb if she didn't work but spent obscene amounts of money on something you thought was trivial? Say shopping and buying a billion pairs of shoes, etc.

My wife and I work together. We both see how hard the other one works every day. WE make a good living. She lets me buy car stuff, and I give her shiny rocks.
It wasn't always that way. I remember when we had to dig through the cars to find enough change to buy gas to get to work.
I used to joke about a diamond necklace I gave her several years ago. I had found the old high school party car / cuda (see sig) but we didn't have much money and it was Christmas time. It was her year for a nice present and we had some cash put away.
Ended up getting her the shiny rock necklace and waiting another year to save up enough to buy back the cuda. For that year, I would joke that she was wearing a 68 Barracuda LOL. I think she was as happy as I was when I finally had enough saved up to buy it! Ever since then she never says one word when I buy something for the car.
Give and take. Has worked for us for 21 years. Once the bills are paid, and the kids are fed, I get some play money for the hot rods. All the cars would be gone in a second if needed the money for the family.
That dude in the video is in for some heartbreak. Just the fact that she didn't monkey stomp him into a bloody puddle after what he said means she must love him

My ex never said a word about the money I spent on racing. However, when she divorced me one of her reasons her lawyer gave was that I was spending money from a home equity account on my car.
I wasn't, and there was no outstanding balance on the account to prove it.
