SRT8 Jeep ET ?

SRT8 Jeep ET ? - 08/13/09 04:52 AM

Bored with no race car while I build my new motor so I picked up a SRT8 Jeep for my wife.

TOok it for a spin and the cluster indicated a 14.0 quarter at 101 MPH. It is dtock with 800 Km on the odometer. I thought this would be quicker. DO you deactivate the electronic stability program to get it ot ET better ? I may just try bracket racing this thing one of these weekends.

Yes, Deactivate any electronic traction controlls or anything that could take command.

My wifes Charger R/T goes 14.60 with the traction control on. Turn it off and it goes 14.teens on the brakes. Found that out in a 1st round breaking out badly with a .001 light.

The few that I have seen run at the track run high 13's / low 14's. I just assumed they were stock.

My heating/cooling guy bought one for his wife. It runs 12.50's with a shot of N20. (Not sure what kind of shot.)

At any rate, they sure are mean looking.

Should definitely be in the 13's. We just had my buddt's at the Nats and he went 13.60's at 100MPH in the heat. Bone stock. Definitely click off the ESP, with the AWD you will not spin the tires!

I saw one go 13 flat @ 101. The driver said that he was able to lower the ET, but it still would only run 101..
