Reccomend someone to get a Hemi short block from - 08/09/09 01:24 AM

My bud Ralph ( Blue Duster with the KB Hemi in it) is in need of a new short block for the Hemi. Long story short, a rod exited the block and destroyed it. ( no, it can't reasonably be repaired).

He is looking for a new block, crank, rods, pistons. Preferrably, in assembled short block form. This will be race - only, 512+/- ci, and will be running nitrous.

let's bounce some names around, and if you are someone who can provide a short block like this, please chime in. FYI, Barton would do a World aluminum block, "RBRE" "upgraded" ( I assume callies ) crank, "RBRE" rods ( I assume Oliver ), etc for around $8995.

I don't know if he is a nitrous expert but I would call Tim Banning at For Hemi's Only before I made my final choice

Great guy , who is a straight shooter.
