Part # for a DENSO 1 wire race alt.

i remember reading someone had a # for the denso alt 1 wire they got from their local autozone

need a small alt with plently of amps.

if anyone can help out that would be great

Bob, the ones from autozone are remanufactured and without a core xchange your going to spend around $200.00+
i just bought one from jegs, part# 358-2025
12 volt alternator, $249.00 and its brand new or with your comp. license pro shop account $212.00

i also bought 2 Jones alternators and they are also a nice piece.
the ones from autozone i believe are 1 wire but you need to buy a harness to plug into the back of it.

Powermaster 8162 or 8172 are the smallest and lightest alternators that I know of.

Is this for your R5 Bob?

I was also wondering what Alt would work best for this.
