Assuming the corners on the Pentastar are slightly rounded to reduce the possibility of a stress riser, He should be fine.

that's a great looking plate
should have got one for a bigger motor though. besides, then you wouldn't need that button either. i thought we could put one of these in there instead.

Looks great, Mark does nice work. I wouldnt be too worried about any "fatigue" cracks, especially if it water jet cut, which would reduce stress risers. I think if Mr Wizard looked at some race cars, he'd notice there are many cars out there running with many, many holes in the motor plates and I have yet to see a catastrophic motor plate failure....

The triangulation design of motor plates seems to hold up rather well.

Mark does really nice work. He made one for 408dust as well.

I'm really not worried about the pentastars as they are water jetted and the edges are round. Small, but round.
