Looking for some pics of how you have mounted your alternator on motor plates or elephant ears.

Thanks in advance.

I had a small Denso alternator and I frenched it into the motor plate and used a couple CV Products Small Block Chevy alternator brackets for the template and as spacers.

Here is a kit that I make. You can buy this from Mancini Racing or Hughes or other Mopar parts dealers.

Well as many already know I march to the beat of a different drummer so here is mine. Look hard but down low it is a GM one wire mounted to the frame rail of the car facing backwards.

I have used the DMI low mount set up as well and it works great. Just not room on the Cuda for one. Here is the Valiant with the DMI stuff

Re: Pics please of alternators on motor plates - 07/29/09 11:26 AM

My plate was purchased from Mancini and I did not have to cut or modify it in order to install my alternator. I was able to use the stock alternator bracket and spacers that mounts to the water pump area but I had to make an adjusting bracket which bolts to the engine plate bolt as the radius adjusting bracket was too short.
