the former owner painted our Duster Gray..
it was red with white stripes across the roof as Ramcharger cars were painted...it was known as the "MaxWedge Duster"
heres a pic of the original steel door..
heres what it looked like when we bought it
and now...

Guys, thank you for posting your pictures.
I'm leaning towards a orange tangerine with
some dark blue and silver striping.
Topside, don't worry about me copying your
paint colors, my wife did not like the white,
now if it had been silver???

That was half tongue-in-cheek, since like someone else said, it's probably the most common scheme. I like the 340WEDGE scheme that had the blackout, which would have a lot of "pop" using the colors you mentioned.
If it bugs you to be hot inside the car at the track, I'd suggest using the lightest color you like on the upper panels.
Then again, I know a guy who can sit calmly inside a black '57 Chevy sedan in a full firesuit, helmet & gloves, in 90 degree heat, for at least a half-hour!
Heres a pic of my 74 Duster

here is mine. Just got the car to sit correct and work through the chassis issues and a rid decided to go on strike. It struck the block, crank, pan and head.
