Has an idle system closest to a 4150HP style carb?

8896 or what?

Thanks

The best way to get as close to a 4150 idle circuit and cruise circuit is to have a 2 circuit Dominator carb built....Preferably with Billet metering blocks so the fuel curve can be manipulated and set correct...Also make sure you get the transfer slot set up with screw in bleeds in the main body....This helps out greatly also.......

There is a 2 circuit Dominator that holley offers, its the 8082 and seems to be OK for an out of the box carb.....Jesse @ BIGS!!

As far as the closest idle system I don't have a clue on those details, I really like earlier version non HP 9375 1050 dominator for a foot brake single dominator application on BB Mopar engine for drag racing

I had that carb on a car in the mid 90s. It worked great all around.

Decent street manners and low 9s off the footbrake on motor.

The older 9375 I have has the 2 circuit style 4150 blocks on it and man it sure seems snappy

I have no experience w/ Dominators, but remember a tech guy from Crane who also used to work at Holley saying the 8082 HP 1050 was a good choice for a serious street / strip car running one.
