Thank you. I've been on such a roll since April that I sometimes have to stop and make sure that I'm not dreaming!

I hope it continues through the World Finals in Rockingham, NC this October because they changed the championship format. It use to be that the racer earning the most points through the season would win it. This year, certain event wins and divisional top 3's "qualify" racers for a spot at the World Finals. That race winner will be the World Champion for 2009.

Personally I prefer the old format. But it was an effort by IHRA to encourage/increase participation, these are the rules this year and everyone is "in the same boat". Needless to say, I'd like to see IHRA make it through these hard times. I'll give it my best shot!
