We are here at the Indy points meet with the new Challenger. Its is A/SA. The engine is a legal Drag Pak motor 6.1 built by Indy Cylinder Head. The car is running great. My 3rd qualifing pass I went 10.192 @130.68 mph. After the second run I was the 12th qualifier out of 90 stockers. Yesterday in better air it went 10.10. The car drives like a dream, the best 60ft has been 1.360. I get one more pass in the morning and then first round is at 2PM. Wish me luck, Thanks Doug Duell

Hey Doug. What else did you do since the Mats. Was the Motor the only change? How goes it against the Cobra Jets? My buddys down there with there new Cobra Jet running SS/DA. There will be a new Challenger S/S car from these guys as well.

That looks like the infamous Matt Wright in the picture checking the air in the tires. For those of you who don't know Matt he runs BRC Racecraft and he is the builder of Doug's Challenger. He has also done quite a bit of work on mine and he is meticulous when it comes to building a car.

Good news. I won my first NHRA round. I went 10.218 on a 10.20 dial. I had a .006 light. The Chevy I raced went 12.36 on a 12.41 dial. He had a .029 light. Im happy I get to race on Sunday.Thanks, Doug Duell

Got lucky and won the 2nd round. I went 10.152 on a 10.14 dial in. I had a .041 light. Jerry Stamps driving a super nice Duster had a .035 light but went 11.582 on a 11.52 dial in. Thanks, Doug

These Guys always build a nice car. MPR did the chassis and they did all the detail,wiring plumbing,headers,Etc. Its first pass was last friday. Rock gave up his S/C dragster to run this car. He'll still be running his S/G Corvette as well.
