360-1 heads- what headers?

What headers are being used with these heads or are people building their own?

TTI makes headers specifically to fit those heads.
Headman does too.

I'm using the same 1 7/8" Hedmans that I ran on Edelbrocks.

I ran TTIs and Tubular Automotive headers when I had my 360-1s , I dont really care for the TTIs but the brand new set of Tubular Automotive headers I tried to replace them with fit poorly in my application : 68 Dart / small block / 904 . There is a guy on Long Island that makes stainless steel headers I looked into but they don't make them for the W2 / 360-1 bolt pattern ( wish they did ! )

what the part number for the Hedman header ?

Call their race division in North Carolina at 770-664-8880 and ask them, you might also want to ask about if they have them in stock or if they will have to make them for you

American racing headers . I bought a set for my Bloomer heads. All they make is stainless. They picked my car up a bunch, you’re right, just standard head type headers is all they make for the small block.
They are a spin-off of Kooks. Like Kooks, they have now moved South too.

How was the fit with the American Racing headers ?

Pain getting the collectors on over the individual tubes. Once on, they are nice, underchassis, no cutting anything. I bought the step headers.
The small tube Doug’s I previously had on the car spoiled me. Fit better by far than anything I have ever had.

does anyone have in car pictures of the hedman headers, do they hang low to the ground ? Thanks

If I were buying new I'd go ahead and buy the W-2 headers, I used what I already had.

I had the same problem with my last set of Tubular Automotive headers ... I ended up putting a big hose clamp over the tubes and tightening it to draw the tubes together.. it worked a few times. I would like to replace the TTIs over the winter.. Tubular told me to bring the car to them to see why the headers don't fit ( I sold the new set I had ) especially since another set I had fit , I looked into Hedmans but I don't want to cut my fender well up .

I’ve had my Hedman 1 7/8 W2 headers on my W2 engine, Indy 360-1 headed engine, and now my Edelbrock headed engine. I had to make another set of adapters as I opened them up for my 360-1 heads and they were too big for my Edelbrock heads. I don’t have a mill and had to do them by hand so I used aluminum.

If you don’t want to cut, best option is the TTI units.
