Saturday was track championship rnd here in Sydney . I am not running all so it was a test for me as i am running a national event next month .
I run a no box dyo class 10.00-12.99. I was footbraking .
First 1/4 race since May for me , new Goodyear radials plus had my intake repaired since then.
Weather was sunny but with a nasty wind chill and cross/head wind .
We now qualify off reactions , my 0.010 was good for second in 34 qualified field though a couple dropped out for 5 rnds eliminations .
I think i may have been a jet rich with intake repair but .
Spun first qual so had 2 left they were good but almost identical . So no variable data.
DA went from 1500 @ 11.48am to 368@ 7.30pm for final.
I was lucky dipping a little in dial but in 4 rounds racing i never got a full pass to see a good swing .
Then missed the light in final , worst all day by a mile .
Still even with that i lost the double break out by only 0.017 .
So a good test . Decent result . Better do better next month on 1/8
