The rear fenders don the familiar Widebody flares to accommodate for the meaty Mickey Thompsons, though the front fenders forgo the unnecessary sheathing in order to save 16 lbs of weight. Under each wheel arch is an optional two-piece carbon fiber wheel made by Lacks Enterprises. These help shave more weight from the Demon 170, bringing the total savings to 157 lbs. Still, expect a curb weight of 4,268 lbs with said wheels equipped; 4,280 without.

15 years ago the “modern muscle” class was stripes wraps and wheels…… the class at MaTS last weekend was quite large and ohhh man some of those cars are hauling the mail!!

We might remember when they “unveiled” the hellcat (iirc) in all places DENVER!! It layed down a respectable number for racing on the moon and the internet blew up with its seemingly lackluster performance. Of course the small percentage of drag race like minds were like “day-um! That’s pretty fast!”. I think it was in Gainesville that they showed its true colors.

Lots of angles I hate about this. People buying them as "investments" and not using them for what they were built for. Dealers raping customers by marking them up $20-30,000! That said, this is something I would be interested in!

Awesome, but I couldn't afford one. Still can't stand the wide bodies and the bushwacker off road fender flares though.

Yeah sadly a lot of them will end up as museum pieces but there is people out there that will race them. There is two of the 2018 Demons that our at our local track a lot. I am a casual test and tune guy and usually one of them is at the track whenever I am.

I know it took a long time for the 2018 Demon to run the published number but I saw Hellcats print 10 second time slips on slicks right out of the gate in 2015 or 16 whenever they came out.

I wish I could find one for 50K or less over MSRP...

Our dealer has been allocated one. There have been OFFERS for 50k over sticker.

The markup is B.S... I thought they were going to put a stop to the dealers doing this.

all sorts of chatter on hellcat.org. Seemingly legit stories of a few at MSRP and a few as high as $200k ADM. Many being 'auctioned' in one way or another.
3000 units might mean the excitement dies down a bit. I can't help but want one even though I have no business even at msrp lol.

That was pretty cool, just watched the hour long video, this years MATS attendees got a special treat. I have paid $2k 2 years ago to buy a new Z06 at msrp and am getting close to ordering one (hopefully in the next 6 months), only bringing that up as I would drop that car and buy one of these but I have heard for the most part most allocations are gone and if you can find a dealer your looking at $50k ADM minimum, many Z06’s are easily bringing that already and much more for those not on a list or can’t wait. Hopefully all this last call stuff will help get our 2015 HC more desirable soon as it will be for sale, 1,100 miles on it.

My advice is start driving and enjoying that car ^ 1100 miles . You're gonna take a loss just to save it for the next guy that could barrel roll it on day one. USE IT

Dont think these are 71 hemicudas either, dodge has 1500hp AWD 8.50 sec EV's in the wings that will make these seem slow

Dealer here in Nashville has 7 allocated and had 2 available as of this morning. The ADM is a cool $150k with a $50k deposit. So, $250K + out the door. Hard pass on that one.

Yes, for what they call "long line" work. Lifting things.

We were allocated one 170. A local gentleman called and offered $200k and it was ordered. Sales manager said they had a bunch of calls from all over offering $50k over sticker.

Again, people with too much money ruining the "hobby" for everyone else. I hope the new electric version kicks this car's a$$.
