Cometic, and mine has to be larger than the bore due to the big intake valves. I think I run a 4.530 on a 4.500 bore, but it might be smaller. Thickness is anywhere from .027 to .041 for me.

Which block? Some blocks may need different head gaskets. For example, BMP blocks require a different gasket then a KB or an old Mega block.

BM aluminum block with stage v heads.

Cometic here also. A 4.530 x 031 on my engine. Making any big horsepower or nitrous/boosted pay for extra for their newer MLX gaskets.

Cometic make a head gasket specific to a BMP block. You may want to contact the company that you bought the block from, or Bill Mitchell directly, for the right head gasket. I have a BMP block as well that I haven't put together yet.

My 605 is zero decked, I run a .052 cosmetic. I tried a .042 and had very light contact once on a dyno mishap.

Looks like i'm about .002-.003 + on the deck. With a 12:1 piston.

I use a .040" thick Cometic MLS gasket. Pretty sure it's 4.53" bore.
The KB block has it's own gasket also...may be the same as the BMP, not sure. The steam holes are relocated outward.

I asked Bill Mitchell about head gaskets for a Hemi and he says it takes stock gaskets. I didn't ask about a wedge but I assume it's the same.

the first K-B street Hemi motor I built had to have special head gaskets made due to it being a dry sleeve block, I ended finding out that the race KB water blocks take different head gaskets depending on which version the block is, IE a stage 1 block doesn't use the same head gasket as a stage 4 block does scope

I laid my old cometics from my wedge on the BM block and found the wedge gasket is in the way of the inner head bolt holes.

I like how the ports are straight in from the plenum.

These stage v heads show 442@.700 lift intake flow. The ports look huge.
