The D/Stock Dart was before Stock morfed into Superstock. The Stock classification guide also morfied into Superstock and that is where the D/Dart is stuck.

The D/Dart was built to compete in D/Stock. They made 50 cars to meet the production requirement. As of today it is my understanding that NHRA will not allow the D/Dart to run in stock even though the 50 production number is well documented. I would imagine that the car would be competitive given that there are several 235 hp 273 cars running in the 12's in stock,

There is a lot of good info on ClassRacer.com.There's one running in SS/K did hold the national record for a while ran in the 10.50 range at 125MPH.Not bad for a 273 with 308 heads on it.
