would the driveshaft length remain the same when doing this swap? I've order an s60 unit to replace my 8 3/4 .

The driveshaft will need to be shortened

Agree , on mine it was about 1.5 " difference if I remember correctly

well that's not what I wanted to hear. i have a carbon fiber driveshaft.. man this is getting expensive !!! I have the 1350 conversion on my current set up.

You can slide the Dana 60 back a little on leaf springs to make the driveshaft you have fit now but do you want to hurt the weight bias when you do that? work
I would rather slide it forward and get a new end put on your driveshaft and shorten it to fit, if that is possible work twocents
