Gone 17 years today! RIP Gary and thanks for the inspiration!

Definitely an inspiring guy.

I Thought more people would reply to this, .But not sure what to say. He was here when I got here. and was always helpful. real nice guy. I never got to meet him. But had heard many good things about him. Made me feel good when they name it after him.

Sure doesn't seem like 17 years. RIP sir.

Met Gary at the 03 Woodward Cruz. Then again at a cruz in a couple weeks before his accident. Great guy and fun to talk to. Hard to believe it’s been 17 years. RIP.

I have not been here on Moparts much the last few years, hardly at all in fact, but I remember that day so well. Gary was the last person I talked to the night before he passed, had only just begun chatting with him. Almost impossible to believe it's been that long. Heck of a nice guy. RIP

He was one of the good guys...Rip,Gary.

17 years is a long time, but it seems like yesterday or last week.

Gary was always super helpful, he came out to my house at the time to inspect the VIN on my Charger so it could get titled here in Michigan, and I gave him a ride in the 300 I had at the time. Remember his parties too. Has anyone seen his Challenger around lately?

I never met Gary or talked to him but I do remember him being on the board a bit back in the day. Very tragic event for Gary's family and friends. I know he was married and I think he had a couple of young sons? Must have been extremely tough times for his wife, friends and co-workers.

I was at a photo shoot with my brother and his Dart for MoparMuscle, I believe in 2002 or 2003 in Columbus Ohio.
Gary was there with his car getting photographed also. Sorry I didn’t get a chance to talk to him, there was a lot going on.

He sure was one to get folks to come together, either at his house for parties with forum members, at lunch with folks form the forum that worked in the Pontiac area, etc. Just one of those natural leader sort of folks that you wanted to be around.Glad to have had the opportunity to meet him.

Also glad the little memorial magnet I had in the garage survived the fire (I think).

Russ was still curator/taking care of it last I knew, but not sure if it's seen the light of day lately.
