just got off the phone with a woman in their office. the "list" that several of us called in and were put on is out the door.
doesn't suprise me. the registration form will be posted at 7:00 pm then the race is on to fill it out and submit. good luck to all and hope for lots of mopars

I dont know about you all.. but I have a very bitter taste after busting butt to get on the.... pre-list.. the waiting list.. the first list (whatever you want to call it)
Only to have it discarded.. All I can say is I hope I remember to be home today at 7pm

Me, My brother, my dad, and a couple buddies all got our registration submitted. Just gotta wait for a phone call now.

I had horrible issues too.. using 2 computers at work, 7:11 was the fastest I could submit, and the screen changed but didnt say accepted... I then re submitted 2 more times, but that was at nearly 20 after...
What a bunch of [Edited by Moparts - Keep it clean]...
Glad I wasted all the time and effort to call them several times months ago to get on the list...

3 windows open, did one about 7:10 did all the first page second page with the conformation crashed. who knows...
so i did another one. that one worked.

Well my dad just got a call saying he is in, #109. Pontiac buddy is in #55.
I'm sitting very impatiently by my phone,
EDIT:Just checked the website and registration is now closed, so hopefully this is a sign we all made it.

Really wanted to try and get in this deal but the wife will have just gotten back from Iraq when the race is scheduled. So looks like a no go for me. Oh well, maybe the deal will continue and I can get into one next year. Somehow I feel it is gonna be going away soon, think it may run it's course.

Me neither Chris......was done by 7:05 myself....2 guys here in Port Alberni have gotten their calls already....and both of them don't even know what their car's will run..or should I say "IF" they will run!!!
I guess we wait and see...but that list thing was total BS as far as I'm concerned.

I just filled out the form at 7.15 , submitted and the site crashed,lol. Finally submitted form at 7.35 so don,t have much hope but ya never know.

Funny, I know people that got in at 7:20, have already been contacted and were told they are 125 on the list.So its obvious they are not taking the "first 464" entries like they said.
As far as the original list goes, I phoned the 1st day it was announced and was told I was on the list. Then when the emails went out about registration today, I never recieved one and read it on here. No biggie, just a typical Pacific Raceways deal I guess.

I'm not sure they are going in any real order. My dad got his call back at 7:35pm and was told he was number 109. Then my Buddy with a Le Mans got his call back at 8:03 and they told him he was #55.
Just hang in there, I too am waiting for my call back and am trying to stay positive

Life is a crap shoot isn,t it, I will be pissed if my buddy gets in as I registered for him as he wasn,t near a computer yesterday. Of course I registered him after myself. Of to work soon and no cell phone access so hopefully the wife gets the call, tim

Supposedly the computer crashed and they didnt know the number... but they took my money and verified im good to go... Dustin got the call for the card info this morning and said he was in, but they havent called him with final number yet..

I just received a call from some sweet sounding gal at Pacific.. She called to confirm my credit card payment went thru, that I am all set for the race and that I'll be receiving the Pinks All Out packet in the mail shortly..
I then asked her what happens to all the racers that couldnt register because of THEIR computer crashing.. She said they were unaware of any crash and that they received the full compliment of racers within 20 minutes..
I then asked her what the purpose of the pre-registering was for when they first announced that PAO was coming to their track.. She had no answer, but she was kind enough to give me a telephone number of their complaint line..

I believe if you call and email loud enough and long enough, you will be put close to the top of the alternate list... So good luck to you all..

That,s gonna be a guess for me, lets see last year had a best of 10.15, but changed from a 4.56 to 4.71 gear and it ran 10.2,s. Over the winter added a trans brake so who knows. I,m hoping to stay above the 9,s.

I think they are moparfan as couple of buddies with some door slammers from the island are in. I beleive one runs low 7,s and the other low 8,s and yup they are chev,s

most hotels are bout 20-30 min away, if you can try to stay at the track, tukwila has the most hotels(next to a big mall and lots of food) bout 1/2 hr from track.......btw whats the exchange rate on $20

Yeh...exchange on that 20 would be about 25....now we're heading in the right direction!!!
Pool all that together with a couple dozen guys, and give it to who goes the farthest!!
That'd sure pay for some gas and "bev's"!!!
Plan "B" is to line up a camper...stay at the track..the ol' Cummins should be able to handle that and the trailer.
It's the first test & tune this Sunday, but the weather don't look like it's gonna cooperate....I hate hittin' that first meet next weekend with no "practice"!

The management at Pacific Raceway down right sucks.. Their attitude over this registration BS is wrong and the worse part is.. They just dont care that their website overloaded...
I called for a friend today.. I used his name and told them I was initially on the pre-qualified list that they accepted last year. I went on to argue that on the day of the registration, I logged on to their website per their rules and in good faith tried to register... however it was their equipment that failed and per no fault of my own, I wasnt able to register..
The lady I spoke with (Jessica) was kind, polite and friendly... up until the point where she simply stated she didnt care!! lol
Just for kicks.. I told her I know of two friends that are already accepted and confirmed and they already know their cars will not be ready for the show.. I asked her if there was anyway I could take their spot.. She said "no way that will happen"
I feel real bad for those that missed out during the online registration and the purpose of my call today was to fish for a loop hole that would allow Moparts members a way to get in..
Oh yeah, she said they have accepted over 800 applications already for the 400 and something spots..

Just for grins, check it out. Pacific Raceways has listed all 464 "Pinks" participants names and their home towns on their website,
www.pacificraceways.com. They are not in alphabetical order (possibly, in order of acceptance) I can't blame them for the chaos, I am sure the response has been overwhelming.
