bawling

With all the restricted air travel for all the exhibitors around the world, it was never going to happen

The rescheduled Sebring 12Hrs in Nov will also likely go bye bye.

Of course. Your Governor isn't a lunatic.....

Oh nevermind. I don't want to get started. I'm just tired of it.

Well that does suck. Guys I am not starting any political BS but if we do not get back to work pretty soon there is not going to be much to fuss and fight over. Business if off the hook and we cannot get parts for months. I cannot be the only one who is seeing months of back logs on parts and material.

Todd certainty not the only guy seeing it. I agree if things dont get back to "normal" soon the damage may be irreparable.

I haven't been out of my shop all year. Not really by choice or because I'm scared or super busy either.

NHRA and many other sanctions, race tracks and teams are on life support. Some are gone for good. None have had a real opportunity to make money all year. Car shows and any other event that I would normally have gone to - some quite large - have been cancelled. These people who think we can just stop for a year, hide in the basement, and pick up where we left off are delusional with no clue of how things work.

I was honestly surprised it was still going on and even signed up to go again. I wondered though how many manufacturers were even going to be able to go and how many could afford to go. My guess is not many and probably one of the reasons for cancelling. There were a bunch of restrictions anyways, namely you had to register as a buyer. 2020 has really sucked balls

Re: PRI cancelled - 09/16/20 03:10 PM

Was looking forward to going again this year but its 2020 and expect anything. Maybe next year things can get back to a more normal state. Lost an entire year of racing the heads up car due to border closure, is what it is. I have not raced my car since March, was nothing out west to run then a few 4000 mile round trips to relocate to Ohio have put a damper on racing for me.
