Looking For "J Tube" Jet extensions - 04/02/20 06:25 PM

Hi All.
A few years ago I bought some of the above now I can't seem to find any anywhere online.
Anyone have any clues where to get them from?
Thanks and stay safe up

I've never seen or heard of these parts, what do they do? Where do they go into?

According to the ad.......
" J-tubes are for dual four barrel carburetors mounted sideways. Their ID is 0.125". Price is for a set of four. "

Fit over the front (fwd of the pair) jet on sideways mounted Holleys, the tube keeps the jet supplied with fuel when it wheelstands for a while up

Interesting, not what I expected...

I remember seeing something years ago about quick-change jets that were accessible through plugs in the top of the fuel bowl, so no gas escaped when changing them. That had to have a right-angle fitting of some type screwed into the metering block too. Is there still such a part? work

BLP Rapid Jet.....

That looks neat (a whole metering block with top-replaceable jets), but what I'm thinking of is decades older...
Must have been a right-angle fitting with male 1/4-32 threads to screw into the original metering block, and of course female threads for the stock Holley jets.

These of course are the ultimate bowls and metering blocks for sideways mount up

That's not it either, but thanks for the info! Looks like a neat idea.

What I recall is something like the quick change float bowl but with the plugs in the top, and the jets oriented vertically in an adapter fitting.
Maybe I'm just conflating different memories shruggy
Anyway once I get my jets set close enough for street fun I probably won't need to change them very often, if at all.

For the J tubes? Before we fitted them along with the wedged floats, we would get a massive bog as the car tried to wheelie, Showed up as a lean spike on the log but we were only logging basic parameters and O2 ( L & R).
