B-1 Plugs ? - 10/05/19 10:10 PM
I made a trade deal with someone for a car that had a 440 with B-1 heads 10-1 comp. really just a street car. What plugs do think should be in it ?

Thanks, was fishing to see what people have had good luck with. I have always ran Autolite Racing in my Indy headed 470" but willing to change. I will call Brodix Monday and see what they say.

I would run a Champion RC9YC or a Autolite 3923 or 3924

That's a better choice. Or an NGK 9 is what I use.

Its 10:1 compression.
A 9 is way too cold of a plug.

A 9 in a NGK is too cold, but a 9 in a champion is just right in my pump gas combo. Champion offers a N9yc also that is non resistor. 6 or 7 in an NGK works too.

I guess i wasn't paying attention to the 10-1 compression but I always ran 9's at sea level and 8's in elevation. I still think 6-7 is really hot but I will defer to you 10-1 guys.

Brodix said AR 3924 , I ran AR 3934 in my 10.75 to 1 470. Just dug into it this weekend he was using NGK 10 V-Power.

With compression that low I would START with an NGK R5671A-7. I don't like running projected tip on a B1, 5672 is a projected tip
