Question for you , the Intake you designed , how do you think it would work on this with 423, or would there be too much port match work to make it feasible?

It looks like you did some carb. tuning between the two pulls, did you?
Did you do any other pulls higher to find the peak HP RPM?
What fuel are you using? I like the way those plugs look up

I love the small block, that is very impressive with an Edelbrock manifold

Nice looking engine. I see you're running one of my motor plates. Looks good on there. I always figured the serious SB engine guys like you would want the two piece billet timing cover I designed for those engines but they didn't sell very well. Maybe just too expensive although I would suspect that someone has at least $25,000 in that engine if not more.

That is some absolutly crazy numbers from a "stockstyle replacement head" with relocated pushrods up

could you share any more information about the build? i do understand that you dont want to overshare on a build like that.

I saw some facebook video where this motor(I believe) ran 6.teen in an early B-body.

First pass off the trailer 6.13 110 mph
Had something wrong with 3rd gear in the transmission so that pass was first and second gear from what I can figure.
Rolled through the 1/4 9.98 at 113.
Car is 3300lbs with him in the seat.

I feel if it makes a good pass it should go 5.90s 113-114mph

Cool to see B-body with a small block in it.

Good job
Mike and Gene Hutchins.
