Hole Pattern for Parachute Enclosure - 07/08/19 03:52 PM

Can someone please tell me the 4 hole pattern dimensions for a Parachute Enclosure? As well as hole size? I'm assuming that this is a "standard" pattern regardless of Chute Brand?

My SW kit uses 4 holes in a 6x6 bolt pattern for my "430' Stroud chute.

No standard pattern that i know of. Just match the dimensions on the mounting plate.

My chassis builder went with 3-hole mounting

Depends on the size of the pack which depends on the size of the chute, if you're using the 4 corner fasteners. We just use a small flange in the center for a conventional chute. Doesn't take much to hold the chute pack.

As stated there is no "standard" answer for that question. Most of the plates you see are around 6x6 but doesn't mean anything. Every chute I have bought and used had no holes for mounting at all. You cut the bag for screws.
