A cheap 426 Race Hemi part

You know you get down some times with the prices of parts. I got on Chryslers web site this afternoon to check on the price for a set of 426 Hemi head bolts. I found them. They were $680. Come on guys, get real. They're bolts. Not a block. Then I checked Jegs/Summit on some intake gaskets. Fel-Pro MS 90007 is a 64/65/68 intake gasket set with the intake gaskets, cork pieces for the ends, gaskets to go under the crossram adapter plates, and Holley base gaskets for $17.95. Finally I found a Hemi part with a reasonable price. Kudos to Fel-Pro.

Yup: I think the Edelbrock Hemi heads are about the best valued Hemi related part out there right now.

Nothing for a Hemi is cheap......except maybe the advise. So don't change the heads or the block, or you have to buy a different set of those pesky bolts!

MS 96007 is a Fel-pro intake gasket for a 361/383/400 b engine. Not a Hemi part.

He said MS90007, not 96007.

Maybe he modified the post. Pretty sure it was MS96007. Was pretty late so maybe I was seeing it wrong. So there really is a cheap part you can still buy for a 426 Hemi!!!

Why do you want Hemi parts to be cheap ?

Hey Rick, if you think thats bad man, try buying Hemi stuff down here....our dollar is 67c to your greenback, then add the rip off that is USPS AND good old Govt taxes......and my mates all wonder why I have a strange limp.......
