Need a recommenation for a race car freindly painter - 03/30/19 01:14 PM

I need some touch up work done. No body work I have the paint code and the car has never been out of the garage since painted. I just need a few spots blended in. I have called a few body shops as soon as I say racecar they say we are booked for months. Anyone know of someone that does decent-doesn't have to be show quality work in the mid Atlantic area ? They could do it at home probably really not a big job. I don't have equipment or the talent and my paint/body guy moved away a few years ago. If anyone know someone in the De, south Jersey, Md area let me know please PM me. The car is basically done and I would like to get these spots repaired before I start racing it.

Hard to think you can't find a body shop within 25 miles of you that can't help you without bending you over! work

You would think but the 4 I have called said they are so busy with insurance work it would be months before they could do “something like that” I guess the body shop business is booming!

You might be better off with a wrap.

Is 35 miles NE of Pittsburgh Pa to far. If not I will give you a number for a guy to try. He loves race cars and custom trucks

Call Earl Nichols at Classic Auto Body in Wilmington DE. 302-655-4044. He's a racer and does a lot of race cars for D1 guys and restoration work. First class.

Bucky and Travis could do it, but they're so busy with big jobs, I don't know what kind of time frame you would be looking at.
