Sometimes if you have to many PROJECTS your other projects suffer. Ask me how I know.

I know building a new car severely hurt my cash flow to allow me to race. I partially sold my Harley for this reason. Too many hobbies/projects water down the time, money, and desire to do the stuff you enjoy.

If it's a decent deal and you have room go for it. You can always sell it later if you can't get time to put it together.

I'd say condition is everything; if it's nice, a good price, and you have room, it could be a good investment. They're not making any more of them.
You don't necessarily have to play with it, though I always am.
I'm one of those "tool for every job" kinda guys, so I have 5 or 6 cars and 2 pickups at any given time.
It's a fair amount of maintenance, but they never wear out; some might only see a couple hundred miles a year depending on what I'm doing.

Buy it. Wagons are cool, and early b body makes it cooler.
