CVR electric water pumps? - 02/28/19 04:57 PM

Who is using one and have you ever had any issues w/ it?

I have an older CVR pump (35 GPM) on my road runner, but it's been used VERY little.

I'm looking at CVR 7540 which is the 55 GPM unit that bolts into a stock big block housing. I'm currently running the similar Meziere pump (42 GPM) and it's been flawless for 10+ years.
The 55 GPM CVR costs less than $300 compared to the 55 GPM Meziere at almost $600.

I bought one for my project, because of promise of 55 gpm and price. I have not used it yet, i will hopefully be using it this summer. Sorry no real useful info about them.

Probably cavitation or wasn't working at all ..just moving water.

I had a CVR that worked flawlessly for serveral years, sold it and bought a Meziere. You get what you pay for...take a walk through the staging lanes and see what racers use and you'll see lines of Meziere.
