tach drive distributer and wiring harness

Hi

I have a tach drive distibuter that the two wires are cut off the original plug and using the stock crome box and msd coil



the wires on the harness are:

tan & black stripe

brown & white stripe


on the tach drive distributer the wires are :

brown

tan


just want to make sure which wires go where

The wires on both of my Mopar tach drives(aluminum and cast iron)are black and orange.The orange goes to the brown/white stripe,black goes to tan/black stripe.

can you see the pickup which wire is on top and bottem

mine are not the same THANKS

Black on top,orange on bottom.This would be looking inside the distributor.
