What SFI flywheel is needed to bolt up to a BB Mopar when you run a glide?
We plan on using the Reid 2 piece case with BB Mopar bell.
Is it just a flywheel that is needed or do we need some sort of crank adapter also?

Yes, you need a couple of goodies. I would call ATI and tell them to send you what you need.

Several different options out there and i have tried pretty well all of them and i really like the Ati adaptor kit over all the rest.

I have both ATI and TCI adapter kits, and they use a special flywheel that already has the Mopar crank pattern on it. It is drilled for the GM converter. Both have a billet retainer ring that goes on the outside of the crank hub for the converter to rest in.

Make sure you have the converter properly centered when using the BBM bellhousing on the case. I know of some people who had troubles with the ATI setup where the converter was slightly off-center. They had to use slightly offset dowels to correct everything.

I've run every combination out there. We currently have an ATI adapter plate in the dragster that uses a passenger side mounted starter. It works great BUT you have to have a really thin pan rail when using a stock style mini starter and you can use a commonly available kickout pan. This car uses a Reid one piece case, flexplate is an ATI with their crank hub.

The Stratus uses an ATI case with a Mopar bell. It works great as well and uses the same ATI flexplate and hub. Both use FTI converters. Only drawback to this set up is limited room to get at converter bolts. Both need the starter shimmed. IMO the easier most straight forward deal is Mopar Bell with one of the available flexplates and hub adapters. I have also use JW bell and TCI adapters.

I use the ATI flexplate, Reid bellhousing, transmission case, and JW or BTE .250 spacer and Mopar aftermarket starter. Beware of used or for sale bellhousings as some of the first ones were off length wise. BTE is good to deal with and better than JW, as they have it figured out.

I have the Reid bellhousing. Just trying to gather the rest of the pieces that will work to complete the install.
JW said I need his flexplate #93010C and adapter #80013 and since I have a .090 midplate I will need the converter setup for that. the converter will also need to be made for the 10.750" bolt circle.
Sounds like I may need to shim the starter also?

I was hoping I could confirm with someone who has done it and could shoot me the part #'s I need to complete the install.

ATI told me that there setup wont work with Reid because there case/Bell is 1/2" longer

I will check with BTE also.

I just did the same thing but with small block, Reid bell and Reid glide case,with ATI converter #408800 and flywheel #915650X and JW crank adapter #80012. Needed to space starter 1/2 inch. Extended locator for starter by drilling and tapping starter nose and bolting flat washers, mid plate is .125 thick.

I wouldn't recommend using the JW Flexplate...Ive lost ring gear teeth on 2 of them.

I use a Meziere flex plate and Reid bell / trans case

iagree The price sucks but Meziere is what I used with the Reid bell/case. The starter is shimmed on mine. The flexplate also will bolt to a 6 bolt converter pattern when you make big power. With an 8 bolt crank I believe the Meziere comes with an adapter to take the starter issue away.

I'm going on 30 years of Powerglide use in 4 different cars (big block and small block) and have never hurt a JW Flexplate. I am almost paranoid about starter installation and spend hours getting them shimmed right. Almost every combo I set up is shimmed differently some with the nose on but many I have cut the nose of the starter off. Shim kits come in VERY handy and are available at Summit.

OK good info here. I am surprised at the horror stories I have read about some guys losing sections of teeth off the ring gear.
I see JW makes a machined billet plate also. Its priced inline with Meziere.

We have a JW bell on our 727 and we ended up cutting the nose off the starter because the nose wouldn't fit the register in the bellhousing and I didn't want to risk grinding or doing any machining on the bell in fear that it wouldn't recert.

Our dragster uses the ATI adapter plate, with their flexplate and crank hub and a one piece Reid bellhousing. The starter has NO shims and the FTI converter fits as it should. My Stratus is ALL ATI and the starter has a tad over .250" of shims. My ATI flexplate also can use a bolt converter. AS for "the wheel" broke the teeth on one once and never ran another. Cost me a final round at Phoenix Divisional from that deal. Took out the starter with it as well. I do NOT use a starter with a nose on ANY of my stuff. Like JOhn been using Mopars with a glide for a very long time.
