Besides buying the holley kit to repair stripped threads, can anyone give me the helicoil size/thread I need to fix my carb?

BLP website has a thread and pitch chart for Holley carbs then you can order the repair kit from there.

12-24 Heli-coil kit at NAPA BK 7703043. Heli-coil HC5521-1 on the bag. I might have one around here.

I have drilled and tapped carb bodies so I could use 1/4" bolts. Using 1/4" bolts also allowed me to find ones that were slightly longer so that there are more threads engaged. It seems like the holes only had to be 1/64" or 1/32" bigger.

Thanks guys for all of the great info. Napa to the rescue. Half the price of the Holley kit
