Help me identify this 4.5 RB crank - 09/26/18 05:38 AM

Bought a 540 short block that was supposed to have an eagle crank in it with eagle rods and Ross Pistons. Everything is what I was told except the crank is not marked eagle.
It’s stamped C4500 and under that EP0509003. Anyone know who made it ?

Need a pic of the whole crank. Usually can tell by machine marks or forging style.

You can try calling Eagle. That might be the serial number for the crank. Maybe they have it on record.

Might be an old Eagle before they started putting their logo on them. Seems like I recall seeing one or two like that years ago. The EP in the part number might be Eagle Performance?

Well maybe it’s worth $300 or maybe it’s worth $7-800 if it’s a crower, Callie’s etc ....
Or maybe I just want to know what I got. But most likely it’s a Chinese 4.5 crank that I’m gonna have checked, cut, polished whatever and put it in. But thanks for the input

I bet your right, checked the website quick and they started putting the eagle logo on cranks in 2003, before that just stampings.
