myfluidamper. does not have a flatsurface across the whole front, the pulley mounting surface is recessed , lesson learned now i have to get a diff flat faced damper
Any sort of spacer or washer will work. They just all need to be real close in matching thickness so that the trigger wheel goes around straight. You can probably find something that will work at Lowes or Home Depot by you.
I had to make a lot of the front dress of my engine also for spacers, brackets etc. What I should have done was bought a Big Block Mopar damper with a Big block Chevy bolt pattern & would have been much easier with the selection of parts/mandrels out there for Chevy's.
AEROSPACE components has the measurements for the spacer. i had them make me one last year due to this problem. machinist said he never heard of this being a problem and i told him just wait, you will. i believe they have it programmed to make now.
