Hoosier DOT drag radial?

Hoosier DOT drag radial? - 09/19/18 01:07 PM

Anyone run these with good success? I am looking at the 245/45/18, since i have a pair of 18 x 8.5 rims. My choices on rims are limited because i need a 6+ inch back space.
These would be for my 65 dart street car with a 504 hp 408 stroker, 3.55 rear gears, 2.74 low gear, and about 4200 stall.

They stick better than the old m/t drag radial. Dont last as long thou. I just put a pair of the new m/t street R drag radial and they are the best yet on the street. Havent been to the track yet thou. Will be going soon.

There is no tread. And they say not for highway use. But if you want a radial that works even at a marginal track, they are the best

i used the nitto nt05r? drag radial on my duster 275/45/17 and they worked great but sorry no experience with hoosier drag radial. i got caught in the rain with them a few times, they have 2 huge grooves and seemed to work fine in the rain.
