BB flat rocker shaft hold downs - 03/09/09 06:35 PM
I need to correct the rocker arm geometry on my BS heads. After reading some recent posts, Im gonna mill the pads on the heads flat. But, what hold downs do I need?
Thanks

I'm not sure if anyone makes them these days or not. You might find some max wedge hold downs or some SB ones from a W2 head or something like that.
I always made the hold downs myself since I never found anyone who had them for sale.

MP sells/sold a hold down for the chapman stage 6 , but they aren't right for the head , but maybe they'll work in this case ?
Contact CBK , I gave him a set wit hthe heads I sold him and last I knew they wouldn't work for him and he bought something else , maybe made some ???

Here is the set I made for my old 906 heads. This setup worked great but it was time consuming to build and set up.

There's a vendor on E-bay that makes custom Mopar one piece hold downs that are Excellent quality...the name escapes me right now but I used them and liked tham on my Chaps.
