Stage VI replacement guides - 07/24/18 01:09 AM

Looking for some guides for early stage VI straight plug heads. Can someone point me in the right direction?

If the material is there and the problem is loose fit IRT valves then just have liners machined into the existing guides...that seems to be an accepted practice by some of the better shops I know. Especially them being stage6 ...I wouldn't impose any unnecessary 'trama' onto them possibly causing other problems.

The original guides are .494” OD.

I just ream the holes to .500” and use std .502” guides.

Sounds like the heads are off for servicing......... look close for signs of the seats moving around while they’re apart and clean.
Pretty common on stage 6’s.
