Damper & MSD crank Trigger - 07/21/18 05:43 PM

Does anyone run a FLU-720311 Damper and a MSD crank Trigger? Are Spacers Required to attach the crank trigger to the Damper? I see the ATI Damper is a flat face mount.

It looks like the Flu-720311 is flat faced also. Normally no spacer should be used. Is there a reason you would want to space it out?

I ended up making a custom adapter for mine. Its from 2004 so I don't know if the damper design has changed any or not since then. It is part number 720311.

The face of my ATI is flat faced with a spacer to locate the belts. Are you using any drive belts?
I don't have a trigger yet,but ATI makes a different front/face plate with magnets built in.I don't know yet if that works well or just use the wheel work

I Don’t remember the P/N of the Fluid Dampner I had on my 440. But I too had to have a spacer made to run the MSD crank trigger. I think the old ones were recessed so the crank pulley would line back up with the water pump pully
