this might be kinda crazy but here goes.has anyone ever beveled a stock head to put a plate instesd of the pan on an rb.i know there is not much room there but it shouldnt take much.906 sp head

No but it was common to weld a plate on the bottom of the intake years ago so we didn't have to use those dog-gone valley trays.

You don't have to bevel the head. Use a AR182 billet valley plate and then the AR392 bat wings to hold the intake gaskets.
