I sitting here at work doing nothing so here is a few pictures of my current engine re fresh, it is a 547 cuber, 4.5" Scat crank, 7.1 eagle rods with a .700 lift flat tappet.
Heads are SR's that flow 368cfm rebuilt with new springs ect.
Changed the damper which changed the pulley which changed the alternator bracket and the power steering pump bracket runaway Anyway getting closer up

The Barracuda is my play car Tex, I can drive it around and have a lot of fun, it should run into the 9's next time out (and maybe it's last). The 63 is drag only but needs a heap of work, the rear end is all wrong, it's still on 4 wheel drums and when I do go back to the track with it I want 900hp so for now I will stick with the play car, cant do both.

547 back in the hole, fitted a cowl to my glass hood, not in love with it yet but how else do you cover the carbs ?
