was planning on taking the car to the strip for the antique drags but have bias ply tires on the car ,my question is can I run the front bias ply with a drag radial on the strip with no problems
You may notice it track a little differently, just be ready to get out of it if it gets uncomfortable, but you should be fine. Tire companies will advise against it.
Ever noticed the fast radial cars at the track? They're all running bias ply tires up front.
I've run it both ways...radials out back w/ bias up front and bias out back w/ radials up front. At the track it makes no difference. On the street, the bias fronts tend to follow ruts. Other than that, no problems at all.
