IHRA Membership - 03/28/18 03:54 AM

Just got my renewal for my IHRA membership (29 yrs) in the mail and found a puzzling surprise. One year...$100. My biggest question is, for what??? how does the IHRA expect to retain members while offering less and less each year for more $$. This will be the first time I thought I was getting a better deal from the NHRA (32yrs).
I'm just disappointed with the Direction the IHRA has gone over the last several years.

Its insurance that you can race your IHRA combo with an association class like S/SS or also run an IHRA specific car in NMRA. I did the same thing when I heard about the sportsman class demise. I have a CM sitting on the stand and I want to be able to race in the Northeast S/SS Association.

Use the part discount you get from IHRA too ..

It knocked $45.00 off a small block intake for me

The email address I had from then was ..
CKresge@summitracing.com

Chuck Kresge , summit Pro-shop 800-795-0260

they take your IHRA number, verify it ..then set you up with a summit discount, the more you buy, the more they discount

some times, it pretty decent , some times not much

like my Ace rewards card ..lol

Thanks, I am a ProShop member and I did use my IHRA license to get it.

Jeg's has a similar program.

Track owners are like whores. They go wherever the money is better at the time. Some of the tracks around this area have switched 3 or 4 times in the last 20 years.
