Milodon pump with remote filter?

Have a milodon oil pump with remote filter. Trying to find out the inlet and outlet ports to filter? Have old style cover 21220 i think is part number

The port that goes to the engine is an open passage. The other port comes from the pump.

The upper one, closest to the headers, is the pump output to the filter, the bottom one is the return into the motor
Which brand remote filter mount are you going to use?

Just remember that the center port goes to the
engine(the center of any filter is the return
going to the engine)

Cast housing for a spin on filter. Have a oberg 600 also but not to familiar with them. Thanks for info filter housing is marked. Was looking for pump inlet and outlet

The center hole on the pump goes to the engine..
outer hole on the pump is the outlet which
will supply oil to the filter.. the port on the
pump that is plugged isnt used.. that was used
in the machining process and is a cross drilled
hole.. it has a plugged port in there also

this is how the SB works.. but the center hole
on any filter is always the return going TO
the engine

the outer area of the filer is much larger so it can
filter more oil before getting plugged up

Is this Milidon oil pump cover for a BB or SB V8?
