Mo-Kan has the Spring Hot Rod Reunion and a Classic Funnycar/Gasser/NSS race that are both in the same month!

Would love to do all 3 but we will see...

This race is always a lot of fun.

MoKan is an historic and well run track.

I noted the "mopar" deal was one day, but is there racing on sunday too?

Nothing on the track's schedule at this time.

There is a t&t scheduled for Friday night. They usually have a gamblers race.

Fun race, fun track!

Dale got the job done in Super Pro today.
Dale's 15 year old son Billy saw his first bracket racing action also, unfortunately his Uncle Darren slapped him around on the tree pretty hard!

Little Billy went 0-4 today. Lost first round in No-E and Sportsman, Dale bought him back in both, and he lost again in both. His brand-new-to-him long bed Dodge went a best of 15.57@90 mph, 360 for power.

Boone was my picture taker today.

I don't know the Kirk family, but they sure have some nice machines, especially digging the Green 68 Valiant.

This Dana 60 swap has whooped my tail ever since the beginning. What should have been a weekend swap got drug out and I lost my push to get it done.

A gen III Hemi powered Topolino, and the "Big Iron" 64 Plymouth.

Really nicely done early Barracuda (66?), with a twin turbo Gen 3 Hemi swap.

Both the Slant cars are very nice pieces. The green Lancer is also an air shifted 5 speed.

These are the gatherings I’d love to attend... almost has a Mopar shootout Southwest look to it.

We had a great time at Mopars Invade MoKan, as we usually do.

Kayse got a bunch of runs in her Yellow Charger Daytona, she was hot lapping during time trials.

In eliminations the was sleeping at the tree and lost because of it.
She bought back in, cut a pretty decent light and the broke out by 0.005.
Which of course was her quickest run of the day.

The green 68 Valiant posted before used to be owned by Moparts Member Bluescuda (Scott L.) about 20 something years ago.
It was a decent car then, but it's faster and nicer now.

Damn I didn’t know you was there mopar billy. I would of came over and said hi. I was there watching my two friends race there car and truck. Jason Teague was racing my old 71 Duster. It was yellow with a black stripe with 440 on the tail end. He built a gen 3 Hemi for it. He is still turning on it, but his best pass of the day was a 10.30 at 132 MPH in the 1/4. My other friend James Flores was racing a 88 Dodge Dakota. He also had a gen 3 Hemi but is more of a mild engine. He hurt it last weekend and still was runing 7.0 in the 1/8 I think. When he first got it runing it was runing 6.80 in the 1/8. There was a lot of nice fast cars there.

It is great to see a pic of my old '68 Valiant. I sold it 25yrs ago...it went through at least 2 different owners before it made its way down to Southwest MO. Glad to see it's still around and looking better than ever. Here are some pics from the late 80s or early 90s.
