360 mag and LA rear main seals - 02/05/18 01:24 AM
Been racing RB blocks since the 70's and am building a small block this time so my knowledge is limited on the SB blocks.The Mag & LA rear mains have different part numbers yet when I compare the ones I pulled from either block they are the same in looks and size. Anyone have any experience with these seals?

Maybe the LA seal is a bit different since they originally had a rope seal vs the Magnum having a rubber seal.If you pulled a rubber seal from each,possibly the wrong seal was installed into one of the blocks,LA in particular....Just a guess

can you post the part #'s, maybe that will give us some direction
